Meet Our Leadership
Nick brings over 30 years of experience in agricultural and commercial contracting. He has managed and operated farms and commercial businesses across both rural and urban settings. His expertise spans all aspects of operations, including team leadership, equipment and plant management, building maintenance, and infrastructure development. Nick’s practical knowledge and hands-on approach make him a valuable asset to any land-based operation.
With more than 40 years of experience, Gary has built and led a variety of successful businesses across the ground-engaging, heavy plant, and site preparation sectors. His portfolio includes large-scale demolition and enabling works, earthworks, groundworks, agricultural and amenity services, and site maintenance. Gary also co-founded a nationwide gritting company, Truegrit, with fellow director Dominic Robertson, which they successfully operated for a decade before selling to the Nurture Group.
Dominic began his career in the IT sector in the 1990s before transitioning into agricultural and land-based industries. He co-founded and managed Truegrit, a national gritting service, alongside Gary Short. After 10 successful years, the company was acquired by Nurture Landscapes. Dominic has extensive experience in client relations, site and contract management, and operational delivery within the land services and maintenance sectors.
Maddison is a recent graduate in Environmental Sciences, bringing fresh insight and up-to-date technical knowledge in areas such as renewable energy, sustainability, and environmental impact assessment. With a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in project coordination, she supports the delivery of solar energy and land-based projects from both a technical and environmental compliance perspective. Maddison combines analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving, making her a valuable addition to the consultancy and operations team.
